Art from the Heart

This is the digital exhibition of artworks and message from children all over the world prepared by the Children's Advisory Team of Child Rights Connect. The goal is to support the discussion at the Annual Day on the Rights of the Child at the UN Human Rights Council about children in armed conflict by showing how children see the world, how conflict affects them, and what they want adults and decision makers to do to protect them.

Children’s voices matter. Their views matter. Even, and especially, in times of war. When children are listened to, peace becomes possible.

English Translation

Hello, my name is Lucia and I am a 15-year-old girl. I live in Girona and today is 5/6/2025. I know you are a very strong person and you can get through this.

I am writing this letter with much affection and respect, but above all with much admiration for how strong you are being despite the circumstances.

Even though sometimes we have to live through difficult moments, you have to try to move forward and always think positively, thinking that soon everything will end and you will be happy.

I hope my letter is well received and that one day you will be happy.
