The Gaza we want.
I want Gaza with the smile of children, fields of roses, not the flames of war.
I want the dawn there without artillery, and the echo of songs heard across the hills.
I want a school that lights our mind, not a tent beneath the shattered stones.
I want our street filled with laughter, not endless marches, sorrow, and grief.
I want to see the child not fearing the sky, not counting the foreign shells.
I want the mothers not fearing for their sons, from a bombing or destruction forms.
I want Gaza free and proud, blooming like a precious flower.
I want life to be a gentle dream, in a safe shade, not occupation’s shadow.
After tears, Gaza will be rebuilt, and warmth will bloom again in our hearts.
With reconstruction, we will light a path of dignity, and return as a pulse of shining light.
We build a school, not shelters, and let the dreams grow.
Gaza, you see, will return singing with beauty, and boats dancing as they go.
