بذلنا الله دمانا                              وَحَاجَجنَا عَمَّن خذلُّوا

ففي غَزَّةَ عشنَا زَمناً                                أرانا الويل المحتل

قصفاً قتلا تشريدا                                  كم ذاق المر المعتقل

قد بات الأمن أمنيةٌ                                 كَأَنَّ الأَمَلَ مُنسدلُ

فكل بيت به قصة                                    سَالَتْ بَفيضها المُقلُ

ولكنَّا لَنا أَمَل                                             لاح بالأفق ينبثق

من بين جراح وعذاب                             كنبع ماء ينشق

فاليوم تمتد عيون                                  لناقوس أمل يندق

لنعمر ما دمر غاصب                              ويرد لغزة الألق

نبني بيتا يزرع أرضاً                                 ويُعاد الحقِّ المُختَرَق

فالله الغاية والهدفُ                               وَمِنْهُ الأجر محتسب

For God, we have offered our blood,

And we have contended against those who let us down.

In Gaza, we have lived through times

Where the occupier showed us nothing but woe.

Bombing, killing, and displacement,

How much bitterness the prisoner has tasted!

Safety has become a mere wish,

As if hope itself has been drawn shut.

In every house, there is a story,

That has caused eyes to overflow with tears.

But we still hold a hope,

Appearing on the horizon, breaking through.

From amidst the wounds and the torment,

Like a spring of water bursting forth.

Today, our eyes stretch forward,

To the tolling bell of hope.

To rebuild what the usurper destroyed,

And restore to Gaza its brilliance.

We build a home, we plant the land,

And reclaim the right that was violated.

For God is the goal and the purpose,

And from Him, the reward is sought.
