Art from the Heart

This is the digital exhibition of artworks and message from children all over the world prepared by the Children's Advisory Team of Child Rights Connect. The goal is to support the discussion at the Annual Day on the Rights of the Child at the UN Human Rights Council about children in armed conflict by showing how children see the world, how conflict affects them, and what they want adults and decision makers to do to protect them.

Children’s voices matter. Their views matter. Even, and especially, in times of war. When children are listened to, peace becomes possible.

English Translation

Hello, I know it has been very difficult going through this situation that happens every day. I only want to say: have faith. I know it seems impossible and you will think I am crazy for saying this, but you can do it. Do not give up; you are stronger together, united. Do not be discouraged; you can get out of this situation. Children, you are brave; believe that you can triumph!! You still have hope; have faith that you will come out of this storm and you will be free. I hug you and support you from Mexico. I hug you from here and send you much hope. Have faith; you are strong and brave, but most importantly: DO NOT LOSE HOPE!!

With love and affection toward you, Ana c: ❤️
