Art from the Heart

This is the digital exhibition of artworks and message from children all over the world prepared by the Children's Advisory Team of Child Rights Connect. The goal is to support the discussion at the Annual Day on the Rights of the Child at the UN Human Rights Council about children in armed conflict by showing how children see the world, how conflict affects them, and what they want adults and decision makers to do to protect them.

Children’s voices matter. Their views matter. Even, and especially, in times of war. When children are listened to, peace becomes possible.

Hola muy buenas tardes o buenos días, depende de cuando sea leída la carta.

Les enviamos esta carta para mostrarles nuestro apoyo en contra de lo sucedido en su territorio. Conocemos la situación en la que se encuentran y queremos enviarles muchos ánimos. A nadie le gustaría llegar hasta el punto en el que ha llegado este conflicto, pero nosotros sabemos que serán fuertes y acabarán saliendo de esta difícil situación.

Para acabar quería comentarles que nosotros nunca hemos llegado a estar en la posición en la que se encuentran, pero lo único que sé es que tienen que ser fuertes e intentar no caer en el intento. Y sobre todo proteger a tu familia y amigos, que para cada persona son los seres más importantes del mundo, y no preocuparte por las cosas materiales, ya que en estas situaciones nunca sabes lo que te deparará.

Desde aquí muchas fuerzas para seguir adelante, deseamos que se solucione su conflicto lo antes posible y no pierdan la esperanza de la resolución del problema, que tarde o temprano se resolverá todo y podrán volver a contar con sus vidas como antes.
