Art from the Heart

This is the digital exhibition of artworks and message from children all over the world prepared by the Children's Advisory Team of Child Rights Connect. The goal is to support the discussion at the Annual Day on the Rights of the Child at the UN Human Rights Council about children in armed conflict by showing how children see the world, how conflict affects them, and what they want adults and decision makers to do to protect them.

Children’s voices matter. Their views matter. Even, and especially, in times of war. When children are listened to, peace becomes possible.

Its been the same from aeons. The young is to suffer the most of the war.
They are the first to
loose everything. The first things that vanquish when wars take place are
Education, Lives, Families and most important of them all Humanity.
And to be modest they are the last to revive too. Education is always the last to resurrect, for the sake of economy is what they say.
Lives never return and families they are scarred in form of fear and reckon the person till his final breath. And humanity is nowhere to be seen even in postwar aftermath as many bury themself in anguish, many are swayed and spread terror and many turn to path of revenge.
But friends
lets not do that and be honest to ourself.
Lets together mutually shape a world full of peace and prosperity cause if one side does not function properly then it is our job to complete their tasks too to maintain peace in the world. Lets not forget that we the Young are the most powerful, intelligent and abundant of all humans on the planet Earth. Lets keep ourselves focused and determined on the path to peace and show them all that we are not the ones to be swayed by the likes of them.
Let them try
harder and harder to wage wars and we will try harder as we can to prevent them, to help and to aid humanitarian cause, as we are the ones that should be the people to shape the world, to bring about the revolution that has been waiting to strive and create a peaceful world.
In the end, I hope to not hurt any sentiments and apologize for any illness I have caused.
Thank you.
