غزّة من العنفِ خالية
غزّة من القتلِ خاوية
غزّة من الخيمِ نقيّة
عن الفسادِ مترفّعة قويّة

غزّتنا…
هي هويتُنا،
هي كرامتُنا،
هي عزّتُنا.
في أزقتها نشأنا،
وبين حاراتِها كبرنا.

نريدُها غزّة العزّة
بمبانيها الشامخة
بمتنزّهاتها الخضراء
بطُرُقها المعبّدة،
وبأنوارٍ لا تنطفئ
نريدُها بمدارسها، بجامعاتها
بمساجدها ومستشفياتها
بمطارها المفتوح
ومعابرها الحرّة
وبشاطئ بحرها الخلّاب
ومينائها الجميلة
وطيورها الحذابة
غزّة التي تنهض،
وتنهض …..
حتى تلامسَ العلياءَ في سُحبِ السماء.
نريدُها محيانا،
نريدُها ملهانا،
نريدُها جنة

يا غزّة، يا أجملَ البلاد،
يا وطني لكلّ الثقافات،
يا ملتقى الأخيار،
ويا أحسنَ الديار…
غزّتنا الخضراء،
على أملِ إعادتها إلى الحياة… من جديد.
غزة …
فلتصبحي أجمل البلاد
فلتصبحي قلعة في السماء
فلتصبحي محراب الحياة…
Gaza, free from violence Gaza, empty of killing Gaza, pure and without tents Above corruption, lofty and strong.
Our Gaza… It is our identity, It is our dignity, It is our pride. In its alleys we were raised, And among its neighborhoods we grew up.
We want it to be the Gaza of Glory With its towering buildings, with its green parks, with its paved roads, and with lights that never go out. We want it with its schools, its universities. With its mosques and its hospitals, with its open airport, and its free crossings. With its breathtaking seashore Its beautiful port, and its captivating birds.
Gaza that rises, and rises… Until it touches the heights in the clouds of the sky. We want it as our life, we want it as our playground, we want it as a paradise.
O Gaza, O most beautiful of lands, O my homeland for all cultures, O meeting place of the good, and O best of homes… Our green Gaza, in the hope of bringing it back to life… once again. Gaza… May you become the most beautiful of lands. May you become a fortress in the sky. May you become the sanctuary of life…
